Back at the Farm again...
Righto... As promised a bit of a run down of what happens on the farm. As I have said before, farm work is hard. Most city kids wouldn't like the farm, lots of scary things. But I love it.
But I wasn't even there 1/2 an hour and I had jobs to do, yep I couldnt believe it either.
Yep, hows that for rough. I pretend and say that it is OK, but I really hate doing dishes. I wish Nanna would use her dish washer like Mummy and Daddy do, it sure makes dishes easier. I guess old people just don't like technology.
But all the chores are not always as boring as dishes. Cos I know a fair bit about driving and cars, Zander and I went for a hoon in the Ute, it is old and has no power like Daddys cars, and I still can not reach the pedals. But I am pretty good at the steering wheel.
As you can see, I certainly have the Ute driving sussed. Zander was a bit scared and hung on really tight, but he calmed down in the end and was a good co driver, telling me where to go. One day i hope my feet can reach the pedals and then I might actually be able to change gears.
I have now decided that sheep are the dumbest animals on the planet. You see, it seems that when they have a baby they sometimes do not want it and they walk off a leave it. Then Grandpa has to pick them up and feed them from a bottle until they are big enough to look after themselves. When I asked Daddy why they do that, he said that it was because the lamb was naughty and that when they are naughty the mummies do not want to deal with their crap any more, so they leave them. Daddy said that Mummy might leave me behind too if I am naughty. I wouldnt like that so much. I certainly wouldnt like Grandpa shoving a bottle of milk at me through the fence twice a day. I dunno if Daddy is serious or not but I am not going to take any chances. Here is me on the other side of the fence being a feeder, not a feedee. I do not want to be a feedee.
Lambs are funny when you feed them, they wag their wolly little tail like there is no tomorrow. But they are big whingers, they BAA BAA all the time.. it was so loud it made my ears hurt.
Then I got to play on the slide. Nanna has a big swing and slide set. I like it a lot. I can do the ladder and slide all by myself.
As you can see, it is very fun.
But all these jobs and fun certainly takes its toll. Zander must be used to it, because he didnt seem tired at all, but I tell you, I was buggered. I kinda look like Daddy after a big night on the juice, but I promise I didnt drink a thing. It was just all the work and fun that I was doing.
Yeah yeah I know it looks like I have a hangover, but I promise that I didnt touch a thing, it was the chores I tell you, the chores.
Well on that note... I am out of here.
Stay tuned for some more exciting Cejae adventures shortly.
Oh, for those of you that care, he is a picture of Prentess at the farm. As you can see, she does not have to do chores like I do. As you see her in the picture is all she did the WHOLE time she was at the farm. Lazy I tell ya, Lazy!!
Anyways, As I said, I am not happy about having her around, but it looks like I will have to get used to it if I do not want to end up on the 'other' side of the fence.
